

Travis Good is a versatile trombonist from Grand Rapids, Michigan, recognized for his dynamic musicianship and dedication to both classical and jazz performance. He holds a bachelor's degree in music performance from Sam Houston State University, where he honed his craft under the guidance of esteemed teachers Ben Osborne and John McCroskey. Other notable teachers include Michael Dease, Ava Ordman, David Wells, and his father, Gregg Good.
As a performer, Travis has appeared with a wide range of ensembles, including the Mid-Texas Symphony, the Holland Symphony Orchestra in Michigan, the Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra, and the Sam Houston State University Orchestra. His artistry and technical skill have earned him international recognition as a finalist in both the International Trombone Association's Lewis Van Haney Philharmonic Prize Tenor Trombone Competition and the American Trombone Workshop National Solo Competition (Division 2).
